Love this!! I agree with it all. “Do less” is probably my least favorite overused advice when someone is struggling with homeschooling. There is definitely an overwhelming pressure to make sure our kids are *always having fun and enjoying school” and that’s just not reality, and I don’t feel it sets up kids for the best possible future. It’s a huge benefit of homeschooling to be able to have lots of fun times, but 100% fun is unrealistic. I mean, I wish laundry was 100% always fun but I can’t “do less” or we’d be naked or wearing dirty clothes 😂
Exactly, that is so true! It took me a bit to accept that alot of school was not going to be enjoyable for my kids (or me), but it actually still needs to get done. Learning to be diligent even when we’re not enjoying school makes a big difference! I felt like half the battle was just accepting that.

This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing Callie! I’ve been doing homeschool preschool with Judah and this is so encouraging to keep persevering 💗
Oh, I’m so glad Joellen, thank you for your kind comment! ❤️ Homeschooling is definitely a marathon, but so worth it!
Most definitely!! <3
